Chapadmalal - House

Maiu House is one of our favorite tiny houses. Located in the Santa Isabel Neighborhood, a very quiet area within what we know as Chapadmalal and just minutes by car from the commercial zone. When you arrive at this house, you will feel immersed in the countryside, with exceptional silence and great privacy. Just meters from the beach and the cliffs.

Casa Maiu is prepared for 2 people, with the possibility of a third person who can sleep in the living room, as it has 1 bedroom with a queen bed and 1 single bed in the living room that functions as a sofa and is very comfortable for resting, reading, or watching a movie.

This house invites you to connect with simplicity. It is perfect without great luxuries. Ideal for those who want to truly disconnect and retreat from the city. You will be able to enjoy a very cozy interior with a wood stove strategically designed so that in a few minutes it reaches high temperatures in an integrated environment of kitchen, living room and dining room. And outside you will be able to enjoy a spectacular view of the sea and the countryside, with a grill, bonfire and furniture to rest. Also remember that it is pet-friendly.

At Casa Maiu you will be just a few minutes away by car from La Estafeta, the commercial area of Chapa where you'll find the largest number of stores, market, health food store, cafes, and weekend fair. Your closest beach will be the one we call Redondo, a small and very private beautiful beach next to Cruz del Sur, looking south, another of our all-time favorite beaches, with the possibility of public or private access with umbrellas and more services. You also have small cafes and tea houses like Samay Huasi, Bai-Bai, and Luva Café. And if you want a bit more city life, you're half an hour away from Mar del Plata to enjoy the best of its gastronomy.

Aiken Chapa has 4 domes on a 2200 m2 lot where sun and the best sunsets of Chapadmalal abound. Each dome, 35m2 each, has everything you need to have an immersive experience in nature but with all the comfort of a home.

Each dome is a loft that comfortably accommodates 2 people with the possibility of an extra (boy or girl) in a mezzanine within each unit. The beds, depending on the unit, can be adapted to be a double bed or single beds, ask us according to your needs. Additionally, a small well-equipped kitchen will solve all your meals during your stay, and the living-dining area allows you to have breakfast or enjoy a glass of wine with a warm temperature inside the dome in case you don't want to be on the deck. Each deck has loungers and space to privately enjoy your rest.

Aiken Chapa is a relaxed space that also invites you to live in community with some common amenities such as a campfire, pool, grill, and a communal table area under the shade. You will be very close to the most beautiful beach in Chapadmalal: Cruz del Sur and Redondo, allowing you to walk from the dome to the beach all year round.

Cruz del Sur is one of the most exclusive and quiet areas of Chapadmalal. A few blocks away you will have a grocery store on the paved street where they sell basic food, so we recommend stopping at La Estafeta before your arrival to equip yourself if your idea is not to leave from there -we promise you will want to stay-. If you come by car, you will be 5 minutes from the most central area of Chapa, with businesses such as Super Chapa, the health food store, cafes and fairs. Near Aikén you will also be able to enjoy the most beautiful tea house in Chapa: Samay Huasi. It offers afternoon tea service with reservation and also breakfast. And you will also be very close to the Trapiche Costa&Pampa Winery and the Marayui Country Club, which has a very noble and quiet restaurant inside the Club House.
